What to include in your message
You do not need a specification. Four things let us reply with something useful instead of a list of questions:
- The problem in one or two sentences: what is slow, manual or lost today.
- Who will use the software: staff, customers, partners, and roughly how many.
- The systems you already run (accounting, POS, EMR, CRM, ERP) so we can say what integrates and what does not.
- Any date that matters, such as a season, a launch or a contract, and the budget range if you have one.
Email or call?
Use the form or email when you can describe the problem in writing; you will get a considered reply you can forward to colleagues. Call when you have a deadline this week, when something in production is broken, or when you are not sure the idea is a software problem at all. Either way, a person reads it.
What happens after you send it
- 1
A reply within two hours during business hours
A person reads your message and replies with either a few clarifying questions or a proposed call time. Outside business hours you hear back the next business morning.
- 2
A short call, if the project needs one
Usually 20 to 30 minutes on video. We ask about the current process, the systems involved and what the first release must do. No slides.
- 3
A written, fixed-scope quote
After discovery you receive a quote for a first release, with what is included, what is deferred and how milestones work. It is free and carries no obligation.
- 4
You decide
If the answer is that an existing product would serve you better, we say so. If the fit is right, we agree a start date.
Your message is used only to reply to you and prepare a quote. It is not sold or added to marketing lists. See our privacy policy.
Common questions before getting in touch
How do quotes work?
Every quote is fixed-scope and written: it lists what the first release includes, what is deferred, the milestones and the price. Changes after that are written up as a change note with their effect on time and cost before any work starts. We do not publish prices because integrations, roles and compliance work change the number a lot.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Discovery and the written quote cost nothing and carry no obligation. Paid work begins only when you approve the quote.
Do you work with businesses outside your area?
Yes. Projects are delivered remotely for businesses across Canada, and discovery, demos and support all happen on video and shared documents.
What if my project is small?
Tell us anyway. Some of the most useful builds are small: one integration, one portal, one workflow. If an existing product would do the job, we will say so rather than quote a build.
